About Maria
Creator, educator, writer, and the heart behind Growth with Gribby.
If there is one thing you should know about me, it is this: I believe healing, learning, and building a meaningful life should feel human. Not overwhelming, not clinical, and definitely not boring.
My journey did not start in a perfectly organized planner with color-coded goals. It started in real life. Raising children, navigating challenges, healing from hard things, and asking bigger questions about the body, the mind, and the purpose behind it all.
I was also the child who asked a million questions. Why does this work? How does that happen? What does this mean? That curiosity never really left. It simply grew up with me.
With degrees in science and psychology, I have spent years studying how people learn, grow, and heal. Not just in textbooks, but in real life. My work as a personal trainer, along with my training in nutrition and mindfulness, has shaped a practical approach that actually fits into everyday living.
And what I found is this. Real growth happens in the messy middle.
Everything I build is designed to help people grow stronger in a way that feels doable, grounded, and even a little enjoyable. You will find a mix of:
My children's books are especially close to my heart. Written for the kids who wonder, explore, and ask why about everything. Somewhere between science, storytelling, and lived experience is where my work lives.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I believe in small, consistent habits that actually stick, education rooted in both science and real life, humor because sometimes you just have to laugh, faith and purpose woven in naturally, and giving people tools, not pressure.
Whether you are here to heal, learn, grow, or build something new, I am really glad you are here.
